Update -- The Sparks are 2-8 in their last 10 games; the Sun is 2-9 in its last 11. But Connecticut has been strong against tough competition in its last three games, although it lost Friday in double overtime at Phoenix, 111-109. In the Sun’s previous two games, it beat Indiana, the East’s first-place team, 72-67, at home and lost to the East’s second-place team, Detroit, 77-74, on the road. The Sparks’ Taj McWilliams-Franklin, acquired from Connecticut before the season, had 15 points and seven rebounds in the teams’ first meeting May 26 but has been hampered by a sore right hamstring and is listed as day to day. Katie Douglas leads the Sun with a 16.3-point average.
