Cypress College’s Lewis to leave post in July

Cypress College President Margie Lewis will retire this summer, the college announced Friday.
Lewis, who has been the campus’ chief executive since 1999, will step down July 1. “I am looking forward to embarking on a new phase of life, one that is less busy and stressful,” Lewis said. “Fortunately, the college is well positioned to continue its important work.... “
Cypress College is a 14,000-student community college.
