Northwest files reorganization plan

Northwest Airlines Corp. filed a reorganization plan that calls for creditors to get new shares and says the airline may seek more financing from private-equity firms.
Northwest, based in Eagan, Minn., received approval to take until Feb. 15 rather than Tuesday to file a disclosure statement explaining the plan more fully to creditors.
