Man killed, woman hurt; possible murder-suicide try

A man was shot to death and a woman critically wounded Tuesday in an incident being investigated as a possible murder-suicide attempt at a home in Glendora, authorities said.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies declined to identify the victims, describing them only as a white male and a white female. The shooting occurred about 5:20 p.m. in the 300 block of North Washington Avenue.
The man was declared dead, apparently at the scene, and the woman was flown to a hospital by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics for treatment. Authorities said she was in grave condition.
