Brent Bailey, former principal of El Modena High School in Orange, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of lewd conduct in a public place.
Bailey resigned in January after being arrested in a Fullerton men’s restroom during a December police sting in an area known for anonymous sexual encounters. Bailey, a Fullerton resident, had been principal of El Modena since 2005. If convicted, he could face six months in jail and a $5,000 fine.
