August Wilson’s “Radio Golf,” the final installment in his 10-year cycle of plays about the African American experience in the 20th century, will open on Broadway on May 8 at the Cort Theatre.
“Radio Golf” was presented at the Mark Taper Forum in 2005, two months before Wilson died of liver cancer.
Kenny Leon, who staged “Radio Golf” at Yale Rep and then at the Taper, will direct the Broadway production, which will star Tonya Pinkins (“Caroline, or Change”) and Harry Lennix.
