British rule in India: A review of Alex von Tunzelmann’s “Indian Summer: The Secret History of the End of an Empire� (Book Review, Aug. 19) included a quote from leading Indian statesman Jawaharlal Nehru that said, in part, “Long years ago, we made a trust with destiny.� It should have said “tryst,� not “trust.�
