The penultimate concert in the KCRW World Festival series at the Hollywood Bowl spotlights some notable female performers, topped by headlining R&B; innovator Macy Gray. The idiosyncratic singer, whose latest album features production from the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am, is joined on the bill by Marie Daulne’s eclectic vocal group Zap Mama and New York electronic-dance-pop hybrid the Brazilian Girls, who aren’t all girls (nor Brazilians) but are fronted by the sultry and unpredictable Sabina Sciubba.
KCRW World Festival, Hollywood Bowl, 2301 N. Highland Ave., L.A. 7 p.m. Sunday. $7 to $122. (323) 850-2000.
