Alcoa hires Siemens ex-CEO

Aluminum producer Alcoa Inc. named former Siemens Chief Executive Klaus Kleinfeld president and tapped him to succeed Alain Belda as head of the company.
Kleinfeld, 49, who resigned from Siemens in April amid a bribery scandal, will take over day-to-day management of New York-based Alcoa as chief operating officer Oct. 1, the company said.
