Did anyone happen to notice the listing in Sunday’s L.A. Times Real Estate section stating Frank and Jamie McCourt purchased a second home in Malibu? It is interesting to note that they also own a home in Holmby Hills, a mere 15 miles away.
While I do not begrudge Frank and Jamie the purchase of a second home, I do question the sincerity of the McCourts’ interest in making the Dodgers a first-rate team. I must ask if the McCourts are more interested in purchasing a second home for over $33 million than giving their GM enough money to make a decent trade.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to read that Mr. & Mrs. McCourt have found the best way to spend the additional parking revenue from Dodger Stadium. I know they did what is the most beneficial for all fans’ convenience; nothing makes parking easier than a $33-million home. I can only wonder what will go up next at Dodger Stadium; I hear he’s got his eye on a new Gulfstream.
