The Los Angeles County Probation Department is investigating a fight that broke out Tuesday morning involving 30 male students at a juvenile camp in Lancaster.
No major injuries resulted from the 8:30 a.m. incident at Camp Jarvis, which houses boys, said Jeannette Aguirre, a spokeswoman for the department.
Officials were trying to determine how the fight started, Aguirre said. The Probation Department operates 19 camps throughout the county where minors are detained after an arrest or on referral from law enforcement, parents or schools.
