Driver dies in head-on crash on 22 Freeway

An Anaheim man was killed early Saturday in a fiery accident on the Garden Grove Freeway, authorities said.
A 1990 Nissan Maxima driven by Javier Ortiz, 31, crashed through a construction barricade in the eastbound lanes at Beach Boulevard and collided head-on with a construction truck about 3 a.m.
Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause is under investigation, authorities said.
