Pedestrian, 66, Dies After Van Hits Him

A man crossing a street was hit and killed when a van hit him early Thursday, authorities said.
Peter Hosey, 66, was walking across Brookhurst Street at Yorktown Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. when he was struck.
Hosey died at the scene.
