Monster Massive, of course
Not everybody will be waiting until Tuesday to get their Halloween costumes on and the parties rolling, and by far the biggest in Southern California is Monster Massive, the annual dance music extravaganza that drew 18,000 revelers last year. There will be some haunted house music, along with trance, electro, drum-and-bass and other subgenres from a DJ lineup that includes Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Felix da Housecat, Fischerspooner, Klute, Reza, Junior Sanchez and others. (More Halloween fun, Pages 17-18, 22, 23.)
Monster Massive, Los Angeles Sports Arena, 3939 S. Figueroa St., L.A., 8 p.m. Saturday. $30 to $50. (323) 960-5155.
