Former President Clinton’s finger-wagging tongue-lashing of Fox News’ Chris Wallace may have been calculated, as Gary Varvel suggests, to galvanize Democrats, but it sure energized cartoonists. Hey, if there’s blame-casting going down, count us in! Polarizing posturing aside, the fact is we still love to draw the 42nd prez -- the pouty, I-feel-your-pain lip; swelling, waiting-to-exhale jowls; squinty, stayed-up-too-late eyes; and trademark cardiac-themed boxers are just irresistible. Wait, I left out that bulbous, sniffing-out-controversy nose -- take a close look: Do you suppose Mike Luckovich draws it that way as just one more homage-a-Monique? -- Joel Pett
