Malaysia, Disney in Talks for Theme Park

Malaysia is in talks to set up a Walt Disney Co. theme park in southern Johor state, Reuters quoted Economic Planning Minister Effendi Norwawi as saying today.
Malaysia is keen to develop Johor state, which is separated by a thin strip of water from the island nation of Singapore.
Disney’s theme park plans are frequently the subject of rumors in Asia, although the speculation often fails to pan out. For now, Disney’s top priority appears to be building a theme park in Shanghai.
