JESSICA GADSDEN and her husband, Adam Fox, both lawyers from Sherman Oaks, were in South Korea last June where he spoke at a conference. During a changing of the guard ceremony at Palace Sumunjang in downtown Seoul, Gadsden took this picture with her Pentax *ist D. “They’re trying to re-create the Joseon Dynasty, before the Japanese occupation,†she said. “They let tourists participate too.... They dress you in traditional costumes and you ring the large drum to start the ceremony.â€
