DeRosario’s Two Goals Lift Houston Over Dallas
Dwayne DeRosario scored two goals to lead the host Houston Dynamo past previously unbeaten FC Dallas, 4-3, Saturday.
Dallas (3-1-2) cut Houston’s three-goal halftime lead to 3-2 early in the second half before DeRosario scored his second goal on an improbable shot in the 67th minute.
Ricardo Clark and Brian Ching scored Houston’s other goals.
Carlos Ruiz, Ramon Nunez and Drew Moor scored for Dallas.
Colorado 2, D.C. United 1 -- Joe Cannon made some spectacular saves to keep his team in it in the first half, and Nicolas Hernandez scored in the 84th minute, helping the Rapids (2-2-1) end United’s unbeaten streak at five games with a victory at Denver. United is 3-1-2.
Columbus 1, Real Salt Lake 0 -- Rookie Jason Garey scored his first goal for the visiting Crew (2-3-1) and extended Salt Lake’s winless streak to 18 games dating to last season with a goal in the 70th minute. Real Salt Lake fell to 0-5-1.
Chicago 1, Kansas City 1 -- Eddie Johnson scored the tying goal early in the second half, and the host Wizards (4-1-1) and the Fire (1-2-2) played to a tie in a game that included two failed penalty kicks.
