Re “Our kids need a ticket to ride,†Opinion, March 26
One only need go to Trip Planner on www.metro.net to find the most efficient way to get from one location to another in Los Angeles County. A route will be provided that includes bus, rapid bus and rail combinations, plus time schedules and cost. I agree with Bernadette Murphy -- our suburban kids need to know how to use public transportation. How about a public transit orientation class taught in high schools?
