Qualia Capital Buys Film and TV Libraries

Qualia Capital, a private equity group that includes veteran film executive Amir Malin, is buying two film and TV libraries for a reported $100 million.
Qualia will gain more than 200 films and more than 2,000 TV episodes in buying the Rysher library from Wagner-Cuban Cos. and another library from Gaylord Entertainment.
The films include “Primal Fear,†“Private Parts,†“Shine†and “Like Water for Chocolate.â€
