NO. 3 GONZAGA VS. NO. 6 INDIANA

* Site: Salt Lake City. * Time: 5 p.m. PST

* The Buzz: Exactly how many times F Adam Morrison can bail out Gonzaga is uncertain. He took over down the stretch against a solid Xavier team in a come-from-behind victory in the first round, finishing with 35 points. Indiana had to come from behind as well, erasing San Diego State’s 10-point lead, then claiming the victory in the final five seconds. Notable Morrison stat: He’s averaging 3.7 assists in postseason games, more than twice as many as he did during the regular season.

NO. 2 UCLA VS. NO. 10 ALABAMA

* Site: San Diego. * Time: 5 p.m. PST

* The Buzz: The Crimson Tide features an inside-out attack that could give the Bruins fits, with F Jean Felix and G Ronald Steele capable of knocking down three-pointers and big men Jermareo Davidson and Richard Hendrix able to dominate the post. UCLA C Ryan Hollins and F Luc Richard Mbah a Moute must keep Alabama’s interior players away from the offensive glass if the Bruins are to advance to their first Sweet 16 since 2002. Felix’s shooting could be the determining factor. He made eight of 11 shots, all from three-point range, during a first-round victory over Marquette but combined to shoot only two for 14 during recent losses to Kentucky and Mississippi State.
