Defibrillator Prankster Gets Year for Killing

A former emergency medical technician who zapped a co-worker with cardiac defibrillator paddles as a prank and ended up killing her was sentenced in Lebanon to a year in prison.
Joshua Phillip Martin, 25, had pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Courtney Hilton Rhoton, 23, died in June, three days after the defibrillator jolt.
