Port Asked to Report on Terrorism Preparations

Councilwoman Janice Hahn on Wednesday called for the Port of Los Angeles to deliver a report on how it would recover from a terrorist attack.
Earlier this week the Public Policy Institute of California released a study that found a long halt to service at the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports could cost the national economy $45 billion.
“It’s the first time a report confirmed what I’ve been saying -- it’s not if, but when†an attack occurs, Hahn said. “So what’s the plan to get back into business?â€
