4 Killed, 4 Injured When Skydivers’ Plane Crashes

A small plane carrying skydivers crashed shortly after takeoff from Sullivan Regional Airport, killing four people on board and injuring four others, authorities and witnesses said.
Early reports indicated the plane, a DeHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter, may have struck a telephone pole before hitting a tree, Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said.
The plane was making a flight for Quantum Leap Skydiving Inc.
