Chivas Settles for a 3-3 Tie

DENVER — Jacob Peterson scored in the 93rd minute to give the Colorado Rapids a 3-3 tie with Chivas USA in wet conditions Thursday night.

Peterson tied it two minutes after Jonathan Bornstein scored his second goal of the second half to give Chivas a 3-2 lead.

Dedi Ben-Dayan and Clint Mathis also scored for Colorado (7-6-4). Ben-Dayan has goals in five straight games against Chivas.

Juan Francisco Palencia added a goal for Chivas (6-6-7).
