Child Porn Indictment for Inland Empire Man

A federal grand jury handed down an indictment Friday on child pornography, child exploitation and kidnapping charges against a San Bernardino County man who was stopped at the Mexican border with a 5-year-old boy on his lap, according to the U.S. attorney’s office in San Diego.
Earl Venton Buchanan, 62, of Bloomington was arrested returning to the U.S. on July 3. Authorities discovered a videotape in Buchanan’s van of what appeared to be Buchanan molesting a sedated boy. Buchanan may have molested nearly a dozen children, officials said. He is to be arraigned in Imperial County on Tuesday.
