Gunman Kills 10 at Crowded Billiard Hall

At least 10 people, most of them teenagers, were killed when a gunman opened fired at a packed billiard hall on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.
Officials believe the shooting in Balabagan town could be part of a long-running clan war that threatens a fragile truce between the government and Muslim separatist rebels. It followed an attack Saturday that killed 20 people in a crowd leaving a mosque on the southwestern island of Jolo.
