Canyon Lake Woman Believed Abducted
A Canyon Lake woman was kidnapped Thursday by her ex-boyfriend, a man also suspected of burning down her home a day earlier, authorities said.
A spokesman for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said authorities were looking for Richard Gurzi, 37, and his alleged victim, Stephanie Creech.
Authorities say Gurzi took Creech at knifepoint, stealing a construction truck, and later getting a ride to the Meadowbrook area of Riverside County near Ortega Highway, where the pair were last seen.
