‘Ramshackle’? Take that back!
Re Liam Gowing’s Mixer column [“Greater Than the Sum of Its Parts,” Jan. 12]:
As one of the owners and a tenant of the building that you describe as “ramshackle,” I am very offended by your description. There is nothing ramshackle about the condition of this structure. While I would be the first to admit that the Wilshire Courtyard is far from pristine, we have maintained and at times improved aspects of the building during the eight years we have been involved with it.
Dude! Do not diss my house! Perhaps a better choice would be “eclectic.” That definitely fits.
