Services for Lou Rawls

A public viewing of the body of singer Lou Rawls, who died of lung cancer Friday at 72, will be held Thursday, beginning at 3 p.m., at the Angelus Funeral Home, 3875 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at West Angeles Church of God in Christ, 3045 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles. Interment will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Negro College Fund, 8260 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive, P.O. Box 10444, Fairfax, VA 22031-8004.
