California Pizza Kitchen to Miss Profit Forecasts
From Associated Press
California Pizza Kitchen Inc. said its fiscal fourth-quarter profit would fall short of company forecasts because of remodeling expenses and lost sales from hurricane closures.
In a preliminary report, the Westchester-based company said it would post earnings of 29 cents a share in the quarter ended Jan. 1, below its October guidance of earnings of 30 cents to 31 cents a share. Its stock dropped $1.39 to $32.54.
