Four Marines Jailed for Selling Combat Gear

Four of seven Marines accused of selling combat gear have been court-martialed, sent to the brig and busted in rank to private, Marine Corps officials said Thursday.
The jail sentences ranged from 23 to 75 days. One of the four was given a bad-conduct discharge. Another Marine took administrative punishment, and two others face charges. The seven are accused of selling flak vests, protective plates and other gear meant for Marines in Iraq.
