Death Toll in Religious Rioting Exceeds 120

Christians in the southern Nigerian city of Onitsha burned Muslim corpses as the nation’s death toll from days of sectarian strife rose to more than 120.
Onitsha has borne the brunt of the riots, which began when protests over cartoons of the prophet Muhammad turned violent in northern cities and led to the deaths of more than 40 people, mostly Christians.
