Wild Oats Markets Inc., which operates natural-food stores in 24 states and Canada, said it had a fourth-quarter profit after improving margins and reducing store expenses. Boulder, Colo.-based Wild Oats reported net income of $3.33 million, or 11 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $34.7 million, or $1.22, a year earlier. Revenue was $282.7 million, up from $281.9 million in the comparable fiscal quarter of 2004, which included an additional week of sales.
