Teenager Shoots Priest to Death in Port City

A teenage boy shot and killed an Italian Roman Catholic priest at a church in the Black Sea port of Trabzon, shouting “God is great!” as he fled, police and witnesses said. Andrea Santoro was shot hours after Mass.
Officers were searching for the youth. A police official would not say if the attack might be linked to the printing of caricatures of the prophet Muhammad in European newspapers.
Hundreds protested the cartoons in Istanbul.
