Amgen to Expand in Puerto Rico

Amgen Inc. said it would spend $1 billion over the next four years on an expansion of its manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico to keep up with rising demand.
Amgen expects to hire about 500 people in Puerto Rico by 2010, the Thousand Oaks-based company said.
