Renee Montgomery scored a game-high 26 points, and No. 4 Connecticut maintained its composure when things got tight down the stretch to beat host Louisville, 75-68, Tuesday night for its eighth straight victory.
Louisville, 13-6 overall and 5-5 in the Big East, tied the score at 66-66 with 1:52 to go, but Montgomery made a layup to put the Huskies (20-2, 9-0) back in front and then added six free throws in the final seconds.
Missy Taylor led Louisville with 17 points on six-for-six shooting.
No. 11 Oklahoma 70, Oklahoma State 54 -- Courtney Paris had 17 points and 12 rebounds at Norman, Okla., to lead the Sooners (18-4, 8-0 Big 12) to their 15th consecutive win over the Cowgirls (6-14, 0-9).
Oklahoma is one win shy of matching its best conference start.
