UCLA (7-5) vs. Florida State (6-6)
Emerald Bowl
Today, 5 p.m., AT&T; Park in San Francisco
TV: ESPN. Radio: 1150.
1 Red-zone scoring. UCLA and Florida State have offenses that have struggled to score touchdowns with any consistency inside their opponents’ 20-yard line this season.
2 Not falling down. With the Bay Area expecting rain today, both teams have to be careful with their footing playing in AT&T; Park, a baseball stadium used by the San Francisco Giants. A slip at the wrong time could determine the game.
3 Protecting the football. In the Seminoles’ six victories this season, they forced 12 turnovers, but in their six losses, only three. The Bruins are 18-2 under Coach Karl Dorrell when they win the turnover battle.
