A picture of devotion

CAROLE K. Weadon of Hacienda Heights was on a 21-day tour that included Romania and Bulgaria when she captured this scene on the steps of the Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia, Bulgaria. The man, guides said, was not a beggar but a member of a religious order in Sofia that collects money and food for the city’s orphans. Weadon, who also toured the Greek islands, Romania and Turkey, took the photo with a Fuji S3000.
