West Valley Detention Center inmate dies

An inmate at West Valley Detention Center died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center on Monday night, two days after complaining of chest pains and being brought to the hospital.
Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of Rosemarie Arvizu, 49. The death of any inmate is investigated. Arvizu’s is the 12th in-custody death in San Bernardino County this year; 10 have been at West Valley Detention Center.
