Murphy lifts USC, 72-52

Senior guard Shay Murphy had 19 points and 10 rebounds and USC defeated Hawaii, 72-52, Saturday at the Lyon Center.
It was the 33rd consecutive game in which Murphy scored in double figures and her fourth double-double this season.
Senior guard Jamie Hagiya had a season-high nine assists for USC (4-4), which tied a season high with 18.
Iwona Zagrobelna led Hawaii (4-4) with 11 points.
No. 23 New Mexico 72, UCLA 63 -- The Bruins let a 10-point first-half lead slip away, and the Lobos rallied in the title game of the Southwest Airlines Shootout at Albuquerque.
Lindsey Pluimer led the Bruins (6-5) with 22 points, and Noelle Quinn had 15.
Dionne Marsh scored 21 points and Julie Briody had 17 for the Lobos (8-2), who have won seven games in a row.
