Carter on film: Academy Award-winning director Jonathan Demme is making “He Comes in Peace,” a documentary about former President Carter as he tours the country to promote his new book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid.” Demme describes the book tour as a “crossroads where the world of religion intersects with global politics.”

On tour: Chita Rivera will take her Broadway show “The Dancer’s Life” on a 15-city national tour, including a March 20-25 stop at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.
