UCLA women defeat Fullerton

Junior forward Lindsay Pluimer scored 19 points and sophomore center Chinyere Ibekwe added 18 to lead the UCLA women’s basketball team past Cal State Fullerton, 84-74, in a nonconference game Thursday night at Fullerton.
Pluimer, who played all 40 minutes, made four out of five three-point attempts and also had six rebounds and two assists for the Bruins (4-4). All five UCLA starters scored in double figures. Sophomore forward Toni Thomas led the Titans (3-6) with 25 points.
