Update -- The Sparks wrapped up the Western Conference regular-season title by beating Seattle, 71-70, Sunday and have won four games in a row and 10 of 11. They are aiming to finish ahead of Eastern Conference contenders Connecticut (21-6) or Detroit (18-8) for the WNBA’s best record, which guarantees home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. Connecticut has seven games to play, including against the Sparks on Thursday at home; Detroit has eight games left. Washington clinched an East playoff berth with a 78-73 victory over Charlotte on Sunday. Former Spark DeLisha Milton-Jones, who returned to the Mystics on July 19 after sitting out nearly six weeks because of a knee injury, scored a career-high 26 points in the win.
