Ted Rall’s brilliantly brutal editorial cartoons are proof that “if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry” (“Appropriate Penances for Reformed Bush Voters,” Opinion, Oct. 19). Rall’s indignant but savagely funny contempt for President Bush and his supporters is refreshing in a country where too many people are unwilling to admit the obvious: that voting for Bush turned out to be an act of dangerously gullible stupidity.
