Court OKs $3 Billion in Loans for United

United Airlines parent UAL Corp. received court approval for $3 billion in loans to help exit bankruptcy, a step the company plans to take in February.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Eugene Wedoff approved the financing and related fees after giving final approval to a disclosure statement for the Elk Grove, Ill.-based company’s reorganization plan.
