Two Men Killed, One Hurt in Gunfire at Party

Two men were dead and another was critically wounded after a fight at a backyard party Saturday night, authorities said.
The shootings occurred about 10:40 p.m. in the 100 block of West 99th Street when two guests who had left following a disagreement returned, said Sandra Escalante, an LAPD spokeswoman. At least one of them began shooting, she said. Killed were Vicente Zuniga, 24, and a 29-year-old man whose name was not released pending family notification.
The third victim, a 21-year-old man, was taken to a hospital. His name was not released.
Escalante said authorities had no description of the suspects and did not know if the shootings were gang-related.
