OK, headphones for everybody

IN response to Michael Dwyer’s response to Duncan Smith’s letter about screaming kids on planes [“Buying Peace and Quiet Aloft,” Letters, Sept. 18], I’m thinking of buying those Bose noise-canceling headphones so I don’t have to listen to people complaining about screaming babies.
Babies can’t help it, and parents can’t stop it, but other adult passengers should grow up.
