11 Killed, 72 Hurt in Stampede at Concert

Thousands of concertgoers trying to enter a stadium to hear old Korean songs sparked a stampede that killed 11 people and injured 72 others, officials said. The dead were eight women, ages 54 to 76, and three boys, ages 7, 12 and 14. The event in Sangju, 100 miles southeast of Seoul, was canceled.
