Royal-bashing

I say, John Hiscock, that was a smashingly nasty and vituperative little piece you wrote on Prince Charles’ and Duchess Camilla’s visit (Opinion, Nov. 5). You don’t, by any chance, dislike them, do you?

Frankly, I find the coverage of Charles’ and Camilla’s visit a breath of fresh air amid news of the corrupt Bush administration and the continuing immorality of the war in Iraq. So, on behalf of my fellow Americans who feel the same, I’d like to say to their highnesses, “We’re very pleased you came to visit. You’re welcome back anytime.�
